India 2009 Part 7 - Agra Fort & a marble factory

Next stop, Agra fort, a red sandstone Fort built in 1565...

Where we were greeted by the resident monkeys at the Agra Red Fort.... which were all over the Agra Red Fort....

Agra Red Fort - The emperor's bed chamber?

Agra Red Fort - ladies' fountain where there played with water and gossiped...

Agra Red Fort - the central gardens

A fantastic view from the Agra Red Fort

Hawkers outside the Agra Red Fort

200 rupees for this table cloth....starting price quoted? INR 600!

We went to a marble factory next....

Marble from Agra is NON-POROUS! So you could go ahead and spill coffee, tea and COKE! (But they spilled Pepsi instead...which was served to us!)

OMG marble lattice and a Mini Taj Mahal!
